Communication process
The process of communication is not as simple as it seems to be.

It has certain elements that play their important roles in this entire process.
Let's talk about the process:

Sender
The person who takes the initiative to start this process is the sender.
The message in any form i.e. Information/Idea/Thought that needs to be sent comes in the mind of this person only.
So, the source of the message is the sender.
Encoding
This is the step in this process in which the person converts his message by means of language. For example, the sender thinks of getting leave for 2 days from his job. So, he will write an application or an email to his boss or upper level manager. Here, we can see his thought is now converted into a message.
Noise
While transmission of the information, the sender may face some issues that hinder him sending this information to the receiver.
These issues are known as Noise.
Ex.- Typing mistake, Distraction while writing, Poor language etc.
This problem may occur in the media as well. i.e. misprinting in newspaper, poor transmission on Radio/T.V. etc.
Again, This may happen in receiver's side i.e. poor reading ability, lack of concentration while reading or getting the message.
Message
The information which is intended to be transmitted is the sender's message.
This is actually your 'well defined set of ideas' you want to put in front of the receiver.
Decoding
Now, since the receiver has received your message. He will try to interpret the language.{What you(sender) want to express}. This is just opposite process of Encoding. 'The process of converting language of message into thought is called Decoding'.
Receiver
The person who receives the information or message is receiver.
This is the destination where the entire process of communication ends.
Feedback
The entire process of communication is worthless or incomplete until the receiver responds to the sender's message. Means, when the sender's application (in our example stated above) is accepted or rejected is the feedback of receiver.
The communication process is depicted below in a diagram.
